Large Format
Between the mid-1970s and the late 1990s, these photos were made with 4X5 and 8X10 view cameras. It seemed that no matter how good the lens (Leitz included) and how slow the film (Agfapan 25 developed in Rodinol) there was nothing like the image quality of a view camera. Ultimately, I settled on Kodak Tri-X Pan Professional 4164 developed in either HC-110B or Kodak D-23.
But I am fond of Minor White's statement, "For technical details, the camera was faithfully used."
